I just saw this and wanted to pass it along. There will be an address tomorrow on education reforms, and from what I gather, there will be some specific discussion on changes in student loans. If you’re like me, you probably have close to a mortgage worth of debt. Tune in to see what is going on with it. If you are a parent, an educator, a student, I strongly encourage you listen in.
From the Organizing for America website:
On Tuesday, April 6th at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, the Honorable Arne Duncan will join Organizing for America supporters for a special, first-of-its-kind, live webcast about student loan reform and the administration’s efforts to prepare our children to compete in the global economy.
Arne Duncan has served as the chief executive officer of the Chicago Public Schools and as head of the non-profit education foundation Ariel Education Initiative in Chicago. On January 20, 2009, he was nominated to be secretary of education by President-elect Obama and was confirmed by the Senate.
You can submit a question for Arne Duncan using the form on the right — and then tune in to watch him discuss the President’s work and answer questions from OFA supporters.
