Maddy Gaiman Interviews Neil Gaiman

This interview is one of the most adorable things I have heard in a while. Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite writers and it is wonderful to listen to him respond as his daughter interviews him. One of the points I took away from this and plan to use for my students is the idea that writers don’t start out as good writers. You become a good writer by writing. Each word and paragraph, each page written makes you a better writer. I also like that he acknowledges the challenge of finding your own voice in writing. It takes a lot of writing to get to a point where what you write sounds like you and not someone else.
