a girl and her boy

Fizzle.

Despite having stayed up way later than I should have the night before an interview, I did very well at Brunswick today. The energy was great and they asked me all kinds of questions that were not on their sheets because they were simply curious about me. That’s a good sign.

I got home still high on the energy of the interview and settled in to knitting. Not much later, I received two phone calls, nearly simultaneously, from Livermore Falls and Massabesic, telling me that I was not chosen for the position at their schools. I’m not upset but I am feeling a decline in energy because I was hoping to get a “yes” from one of these schools so it would deflate my stress levels.
