Dreams of What May Come

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping the last few nights. Ever since kindergarten, the night before school was rough as I my mind would reel with hopes and dreams for what may come. This sleeplessness is of the same variety. While tossing and turning on the queen-sized futon that causes my back to ache, I envision the many possibilities of school districts, classrooms, students, my new apartment (with or without Allan), and much more. In each scenario, I’m living in a coastal town. Is this a premonition of things to come? It just may be.
During my days, my fingers are busy working the stitches of wearable art, or the prototypes for future projects. Socks have been spiraling off the needles like water tricking down a mountain, slow at first but picking up speed and force.
